1. Who we are

This policy explains what data is processed and why when you use the CaloSee mobile app, the dietitian panel (dpanel.calosee.com) and calosee.com. Data controller: the operator of the CaloSee app and calosee.com, Anıl GENÇASLAN (individual, Mersin, Türkiye). Contact: support@calosee.com or info@calosee.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account: email, name and password.
• Profile and health information: your goal, diet type (omnivore, vegetarian, vegan), illnesses and allergies, gender, birth year, height and activity level. Optionally, blood test values and test images you upload.
• Tracking data: meals, weight, body measurements, steps, daily streak and your meal plan.
• Photos: plate or fridge photos. They are sent to an AI service for calorie estimates and recipe suggestions.
• Dietitian connection: if you enter a dietitian's invite code, your data is shared with that dietitian, who can add notes and a meal plan for you.
• Technical data: session information, last-use time and, when ads are shown, an advertising ID.

3. Why we use it

• Create your account and manage your session
• Calculate daily goals and show your progress
• Provide calorie estimates from photos and recipe suggestions
• Share data with your dietitian
• Limit abuse and keep the service secure
• Show ads and answer support requests

4. Legal basis and consent

Your health data is special category data and is processed only with your explicit consent, requested at sign-up. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. Other data is processed to provide the service and for our legitimate interests.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only use these providers to run the service:

• Cloudflare: hosting, servers and database
• Google: the AI service (Gemini) that handles photo and recipe requests
• Google AdMob: advertising, when ads are shown

Dietitians see your data only after you enter their invite code.

6. International transfers

These providers may process data on servers outside your country. This transfer is based on your explicit consent.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account your data is deleted, except where a legal obligation requires keeping some of it for a limited time.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or object to processing by writing to support@calosee.com or info@calosee.com. See the KVKK Notice for details.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on the server under your account. No system is completely risk-free, so do not share your password.

10. Children

CaloSee is not directed at children. Anyone under 18 should use it only with a parent or guardian.

11. Medical disclaimer

CaloSee does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Calorie and recipe estimates are approximate. If you have a health condition, consult a doctor or dietitian.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
